His IEP meeting was scheduled for that afternoon. However, his mother was upset that she had to come get him and refused to come back for the IEP meeting. I did not know how to respond. Any thoughts? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would try to put yourself in the mother's shoes and understand where she is coming from. IEP meetings are very important and are necessary, but can be rescheduled to another day that works for the parent.
