Case: Parents doing the work for their child
In eLearning i have noticed parents sitting beside their child and telling them the answers and doing their work for them. How do I solve this issue?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I have seen a lot of this happening in my virtual internship. The students I teach are in first grade and the parents are always either sitting next to them or very close to them to the point where they can hear the teacher giving her lesson. It has especially been an issue when the students have to complete testing at their home, this testing is to assess the students progress and see where they are at in the class and to see if they are possibly falling behind in certain subject areas. The students have done exceptionally well although when we place them into small groups to teach a lesson (math especially) they don't even understand what is going on. So it is very concerning that these parents are basically taking these tests for their kids and trying to "help them" but what they don't understand is that they are actually hurting them and their education.

Comments: It's really difficult to try and relay to parents that the grade is not indicative of learning, and that their child actually learning is more important!
