Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: How Much is Too Much? I am in graduate school for my Masters in Teaching. A question that I have is how do you know how many emails or updates to send a parent? I don't want to be too overbearing but I also want to communicate a lot with the parents so that they are understanding where their child is and how they are doing. Is there a better way to reach the parents other than email? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would try to reach them over phone. Leaving a message or voicemail for them to hear will usually result in a call back. Although if they are not answering the emails and this is an ongoing problem I would try to get the administration involved or the school resource officer. Many people prefer texts or written notes and letters over phone calls, and many do not even check voicemails. While I think this solution has the best of intentions, I would go another route personally.
