She refused to do written work, she was stubborn and her teacher found her difficult to work with. Her mother was extremely worried. There are some good solutions here. I think building a relationship with her then incorporating group work would be a good way to create a positive social experience for her. If she is able to trust the teacher, then I believe that will help alleviate some of the behavioral issues making her more comfortable to branch out socially.
