You notice your kindergarten student taking money off your desk. You talk to the student and why it is wrong to steal. What do you think the parents should do to support you as the teacher?

Comments: I did not find this solution useful because the original poster stated that they already discussed the incident with the student.

Comments: Simply telling a student not to do something will not solve the problem. Students need to be given an explanation as to why stealing is wrong so they understand how their actions harm others.
