Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Substitute problems I once had a substitute come help in a classroom with ESE students who are extremely high needs. The substitute made a comment about the students being “vegetables” this made me extremely uncomfortable and upset. What should I have done in this situation. The sub was only there one day. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) This is inappropriate behavior. My advice is to speak to your principle. That kind of careless behavior can scar children. It may not have meant much to the sub but that is likely to stay with your students for a while.
