What if a teacher has one on their ankle, wrist, behind ear? I would like to know from teachers whom have received teaching positions with tattoos, just how the rules are. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I have spoken with my mother-in-law who is na administrator at an elementary school and she said that most of the time tattoos are not an issue. At her school, the principal is more concerned with your credentials and experience than with your body art. She did however say that most of the teacher's at her school that have tattoos do usually have them covered for the vast majority of the day but it is the teacher's choice; it is not forced by the school.
