The problem is, when I give him this attention he opines for more. He will disturb the students around him even when I separate him from the rest of the class. When I put him in the hall, he will disturb any student that can see him. He picks fights with anyone he can. If you ignore him, he fights for your attention. When you give him attention, he pushes for more. When you praise him for good work, he is good for five minutes. Then, he wants more praise. He is my nemeses. What do I do? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) First, I think seeing the student as a nemesis isn't helping the situation. He is in third grade, which he is old enough to understand his behavior isn't acceptable. Possibly try talking to him about his behavior and if that doesn't help them try speaking with his parents. Further than that, you can implement a classroom management plan to help him better cope with his emotions and way he acts around the classroom. He has to understand that his behavior is not appropriate and you should give him some different strategies to use other than what he has been doing.
