It has been about a month into my internship and he still has yet to involve me in the classroom. I have taught before at the elementary level and although I don't want to take over the class and I want him to feel comfortable I also want to help. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would talk to your CT about your involvement in his classroom. If he does not involve you, talk to your internship adviser. They can help direct the issue to a solution. Many advisers will reach out to the CT directly about the issue. The three of you can have a meeting where the adviser goes over what is expected as a CT and what is expected as the intern.
