This teacher previously taught at my school and students are beginning to talk. What is the correct response when asked by other teachers, parents, or students about the situation? I would respond something along the lines of how you do not know the entirety of the situation and it is not appropriate to speak about in the classroom. If anyone has any private questions, they may set up a meeting with the principal if they find it directly affects them or their students learning, not if it is just to know the gossip though.
