What would you do to get the student to open up and start talking? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would respect the student and do my best to work with them. I would do my best to establish a good relationship with them to see if I could help them open up. I would also speak to the parents and other teachers to see how they deal with the situation. I would allow the student to submit plenty of written work but I would also encourage them to speak up every now and them. It may be a confidence thing as well so I would do my best to build them up as a person.
