I was in my first week of my first internship and a neighboring teacher came into my CT's room and was telling her how she had gotten really high (marijuana) that weekend and is looking forward to doing the same the next weekend. My CT quickly changed the subject and we never spoke about it. Should I have said something to the administration? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) What teachers do in their free time is up to them, but as soon as they start bringing it into a school environment, it becomes a bigger issue. I would speak to them and remind them that there is a time and place for things. If they continue to talk about it, especially in front of students, I would bring it up to administration.
