She is aggressive verbally and physically. She talks back and mocks the students. The issue I feel is that she is extremely low reader. She is a level g reader in the fourth grade. She is not receiving any services. I am working on gaining data for services but what is a suggestion you have for this student. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would start by having a conversation with the student. Offer one-on-one time or additional support for the student during reading and reading assignments. Also let the student know the consequences of being verbally and physically harmful to other students. I would also suggest having a meeting with the student and the parents to talk about her behavior. Talk with administrators and see if there is a way to speed up the process so the student can begin receiving services as soon as possible.
