  Case: Online Work Issues
A teacher is constantly receiving completed work for the wrong class from an online student and is having a very hard time communicating with this student. The student doesn't participate in virtual learning conversations and doesn't respond to the teacher's emails, but the student is always present for the virtual class. The teacher isn't sure if the student is having a hard time keeping organized or if they are just not completing the work for this class. What is the next step the teacher should take since communication with the student isn't working?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
The next step should be an attempt at reaching out via another method such as a phone call to the student and/or the parent/guardian, as I think contact needs to be made with one or the other if not both. If contact is made, then the teacher should schedule either a parent-teacher conference or conference with the student, depending on who the teacher is able to reach. Another great way to achieve this would be addressing the student before, during, or after one of the virtual classes for which the student is present. During this conference, the teacher should first see what is going on with the student and then strategize how to help the student from there.
