A question that I have is how do you know how many emails or updates to send a parent? I don't want to be too overbearing but I also want to communicate a lot with the parents so that they are understanding where their child is and how they are doing. Is there a better way to reach the parents other than email? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would say send a daily update. I have a teacher friend who sends parents a quick message of a few sentences telling them what was done in class and how their student participated.
