They are sometimes related to content standards but sometimes it is just to keep the students busy. We are both on the same grade level and are both first-year teachers. What should I do? Should I say something to her that we have all heard several times or tell my team leader? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would try talking to the other teacher first on why they are showing these videos to their students if there is a policy against them, since you may not know if she has permission or not.
