  Case: Blurting Out
The year has gotten off to a great start except for one thing. In one of my classes, I have a student who seems too eager to please, and blurts out answers to questions whenever I try to have a teacher-led discussion. What should I do?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would suggest to the student that they must raise their hands in order to respond. If they blurt out the answer, still pick on a student and have them respond anyways. This should disincentivize the blurting out, as they are not getting rewarded recognition for doing so.
