Case: Won't Wear Their Masks
With COVID being a new obstacle teachers must face how can we encourage students to properly wear their mask at all times? Sometimes reminding them of the rules and dangers doesn't stop them. They still mess with the mask and take it off.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Students respond much better to positive reinforcement than they do negative reinforcement so it may be lucrative to instill a reward system in which students who wear their mask throughout the day are given liberty to have free time. Otherwise, if this comes off as discriminatory, then try making an experiment to show kids just how germs are passed and the importance of the mask. It can be nonhostile and educational. |

| Comments: I liked the idea of positive reinforcement for wearing their mask during class. I think that this is a good solution for this case study. |
