  Case: Studying before the lesson
Mrs. Hopkins, a US Government teacher, tells her students to study the lessons that they will be going over in class and come up with two questions to ask in class. She tells to her students that if their two questions aren't answered during the lesson in class, they can ask them at the end of the period. Her students that do this continuously score high on all tests and quizzes, whereas, her students that don't do this score lower. What can she do to get all of her students to use this method of studying?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Assign the two questions as homework. It is an easy but effective strategy. If they cannot come up with any questions, Mrs. Hopkins can help them by asking them leading questions that they probably don't know the answer to about their coursework.
