I always see other students making fun of this students clothes that they wear. This student is always trying to fit in with the other students by making pranks in class and interrupting the teacher when they speak. I have tried to talk to this student but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any solutions for me? I can tell that it hurts this students feelings when they get made fun of. I feel like I have run out of options. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would address both parties, individually. I would first talk to the student privately to learn more about the student's home life and how I can assist him and his family with basic needs (clothes, food, etc.) I would then have a class discussion about bullying and the effects it has on other students. No bullying should be a classroom rule, so I would start implementing whatever consequences you have in place for broken rules.
