  Case: Transphobic Peers
How can I protect a transgender student from being misgendered in class without personally calling out the student?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
While introducing themselves during the first day of school, you could have students state their pronouns along with their name. This would ensure each student is addressing their pronouns, so the transgender student won't feel objectified and as if they are the center of attention.

Comments: I found this to be a good idea because it allows everyone in the classroom to additionally understand the importance of knowing and using someones correct pronouns. When shared by everyone, the student will feel normal sharing his/her own without being singled out.

Comments: This is a great solution to not have the transgender student feel signaled out. It also is a chance to show students that everyone does have pronouns and its something they should respect.
