I teach 5 sections of science (three 7th grade and two 8th grade classes) and am thinking of implementing this, but I'm not sure how effective it is. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I saw a teacher utilizing exit tickets in a fifth-grade classroom and I have seen this to be very beneficial for students because it makes them more attentive throughout the lesson before they are to transition into something different.
