I received a note back from the parents with a very rude remark, \"(Blank student) has a mother and does not need another.\" Now, uncomfortably, I do not know what to do. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) You can conduct a meeting or phone call to the parent explaining what is happening in school, and explain to them that you were not trying to overstep, but instead help the child. If the student doesn't take offense to you giving them deodorant, maybe just keep it at school instead of sending it home.
