He is constantly hiding under his desk when I am teaching and it causes distribution in the classroom. I do not want to stop the class session to correct his behavior and sometimes he does not even listen when I do. What are the solutions for this? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would have a parent teacher conference if you have addressed the issue with the student and they do not respond to redirection. Working with the parents could give you the support you need to correct the issue with the student, or get to the root of why the student is misbehaving (attention, bored, anxious, etc..).
