One of the major things Ive seen from classmates on this topic is the idea that reading takes a bit longer for these students if they have the phonological dyslexia. so the question is, if I know a student has dyslexia, do I call on them to read a passage out loud? Is dyslexia talked about within the classrooms? Because I have never heard a teacher talk about dyslexia and the disability. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would not randomly call on that student. That could cause anxiety and panic.
