Case: Purse on the floor
My CT Had her oversized purse open with two different bottles of prescription medicine visible to anyone who looked at the purse. She had it on the floor next to her where she was sitting next to all the kids on the rug. She then left the place she was sitting and went to the other side of the room. The purse was in arms reach o many students sitting on the floor right by it. I was worried but didn't say anything unless the students reached for it.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Politely approach them and explain the gravity of the situation, and a reminder of the audience that you all teach. If it continues to be an issue, politely notify them that it is not safe, and that you will be bringing it up higher for the children's safety, and that it is not an attack on them. |
