Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) In my class, I have brought up the idea to my students of rewarding the class with a small toy like a little squishy animal if the whole class is able to behave and listen to me when they are told to for a day. This implements the idea that everyone is responsible for themselves and their actions, but also to hold each other accountable so they can encourage each other to cooperate. I have also thought about handing these out to students when they are doing an exceptional job. These are good incentives, as right now, the kids are very excited about them and they are very small.
