  Case: Takes notes on I-Pad
I have a strict no-technology during instruction policy. Two students are taking notes on I-Pads and clearly are using them for more than just note-taking. Am I being too strict? If not, how should I approach this situation?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I have a no cellphone policy in my class but allow one of my students translate words because they don't speak English. if they are using the IPADS for educational purposes than fine but only for that. Just make sure you are monitoring their screens but I don't think you are being too strict.

Comments: I agree with your solution. I think that students can benefit from using Ipads for educational purposes, but once it becomes a distraction and its being used for something else, they should be warned of losing those privileges.
