Shes pulls the student and works one-on-one with the student. Miss Kay and the student uses flashcards, games, computer programs, and worksheets. However, the student seems not to be motivated to complete the work. She is fluent in English, but struggles with reading and academic English. She just doesn't seem interested in the work. Any suggestions on how Miss Kay could increase the student's motivation? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would first tell the student that they need to be more motivated. Then if there is the slightest showing of motivation by the teacher, rewarding to become motivated such as extra credit or the leader of a fun activity in the classroom. Posting something such as a star with their name on it on the whiteboard or wall may motivate
