Where I live and hope to teach. It is a scary taught that I am going into this profession and was so excited to help my students become well rounded people and now there is so many topics that are off limits. I just worry that students because they are brilliant will have questions about history and I will not feel comfortable talking to them about it because of these new bans. What I have tried to do to prepare is research as much as possible and figure out what I can do to still educate students about diverse topics. I also think that when you do get hired, you should talk to administration and other teachers at the school to see what their policies are and how they are adjusting to the changes.
