Whenever I addressed concerns to my employers or asked necessary questions, they would sometimes make rude remarks towards me, or tell me I was overreacting. My biggest fear as I enter my teaching career is that principals or co-teachers won't take me seriously because I am new and young. How can I prove myself to be taken seriously? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Whenever I would get a job, I was always the youngest one there. Everyone else was always a little bit older than me. I never thought of voicing my concerns to my employers, but sometimes I would go home crying because the employers never treated me the same way as the others. I feel as coming out of college and being a young teacher would be concerning. But I feel like if I do things on my own and show others what I can do might change my perspective.
