She is aggressive verbally and physically. She talks back and mocks the students. The issue I feel is that she is extremely low reader. She is a level g reader in the fourth grade. She is not receiving any services. I am working on gaining data for services but what is a suggestion you have for this student. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would first try and talk with the student and discuss their reason behavior and why they feel the need to do so. Next talk with your schools counselor and principle about what resources are available to you and the student to aid here. Try and give them work with simpler words and less sentences at first and gradually give them more complex work to do in and out of class, for this I would also try and contacting and discussing the problem and student progress with them.
