I am constantly reminding them not to shout out. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would use a point system. If the student were to call out, I would ignore them and call on a student who has their hand raised and reward them. If it continuously happens, especially with the same individual, I would talk to them privately. If it continues, I would send a letter home.
