Case: Dealing With Parents Who Don't Like You
Every year or so, there might be a parent who doesn't like you. It could be how you teach your class, or they just straight up do not like you with no reason what so ever. Now, there are ways to fix that. But what do you think would be the best way to fix the problems between you and the parent?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would try to focus on the positive about the student with the parents. If there are negatives always refer to them after you have told them about the positive behavior the student exhibited. This way they do not feel that you are just saying the negatives about their child you are also recognizing the positives.
