For example, the student comes in with a project written above their level, they can't read it, and they don't know what their project is about. How do you go about making sure this doesn't happen again? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Try to provide as much time in-class for students to complete the project. That way you can monitor their progress and check their understanding. This is often difficult with time-constraints, so group projects could be another way of avoiding that, especially if you include a peer review. You could also send a reminder to all parents about the importance of student's completing their own projects.
