How do you go about including family and culture in a classroom? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) The classroom is where students spend the majority of their time. It should be their safe space. To make the space more comfortable, invite students to bring pictures of their families into the classroom that they can keep at their desks or post on a designated bulletin board in the classroom. In addition to that, invite families into the classroom to read multicultural books to the class and during winter, encourage families to participate in classroom parties and activities that explore cultural holidays around the world.
