  Case: Rebel Substitute Teacher
The teacher leave sub plans for the teaching to follow but he decides to do what he thought was best and lectured students. What should the teacher do?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
When I subbed, sometimes the students did not understand the material that was left by the teacher. This was because it was the start of a new unit or because the teacher did not prepare the students well enough before hand. I would leave a note as to the receptiveness of the students, my ability to teach it or if I struggled and where the teacher needs to pick up or review, and how the classes did overall. If the sub blatantly does not follow the teachers directions, the principal's secretary (or whoever is in charge of subs) should be informed and they can block that sub from picking up days in the future.
