What do I do when students constantly come up to me for help?

I use "Ask 3 before me" strategy. Students ask their peers for help first and only come to you if they still need help after asking 3. |

| Comments: I agree with this solution but something that needs to be kept in mind is that it has to be enforced constantly. The educators that I know who use this technique add on don't come to me unless somethings on fire or if someone is bleeding or passed out. |

| Comments: While I like this strategy for combatting the issue of students constantly coming up to their teacher, it would be important to set ground rules on the first day of school so students do not constantly disrupt the class when they are asking 3 different classmates for their assistance. |
