  Case: Help during test
Mrs. Chin is a fourth grade teacher who is struggling to help a low performing student with assessments. He always wants to sit right beside her to take a test. She usually reads him the material because she wants to test math skills, not reading. However, he has gotten used to this and refuses to test without her right there beside him. She must continue to monitor the other students, and help him too. What should she do?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Mrs. Chin can record herself on tape and have the student listen so that she can continue to monitor the other students. She can also try to partner the student with a high performing student who only reads the questions and nothing else.
