Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Behavioral A second grade teacher is in her second year of teaching and she is burned out. She has a boy in her classroom who's behavior fluctuates, however majority of the time the behavior is negative to himself, teacher, and peers. When he gets into trouble and is asked to leave the room he walks so slow barely even taking a step. The parents have been notified and administration involved. However the child continues to have bad behavior and point scissors at his neck and say I am going to die, etc. The counselors have been involved along with the parent notification and other teachers trying to assist. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Set strick boundaries in your classroom that the child is aware of. For example, if the child is treating himself with scissors he will not be aloud to have them in his possession until an activity requires the use of them .
