I passed out progress reports to my students at the end of each period. After school, I had a visit from one of my most engaged students who was crying and very upset. Her current grade is an 89.45%, and she says that she has never before received a "B" in any class. What is my next step? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) First, I would explain that an 89.45 is not a bad grade and nothing to be ashamed about.
