  Case: Teacher Feedback
For years, Mrs. Marsh has just put a grade on an assignment and never provided the student with any feedback. The students always ask a ton of questions about their grade. Mrs. Marsh knows she needs to give feedback, but she doesn't know where to start. What would you recommend? What strategies should she implement?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Mrs. Marsh should utilize rubrics when assessing student work as rubrics provide a guide for students as well as providing justification of teacher scoring.

Comments: I like the idea of using the rubric. If she in unsure what to put as the feedback for their grade, at least they can see what area they scored the lowest points on.

Comments: I agree with you. Rubrics are a great way to start on providing feedback and to let the students know what they need to work on. Creating a rubric will not only help her provide that feedback for her students, but it will also help her students understand the assignments better and should answer most questions.

Comments: I believe this solution is best. Throughout my elementary education, I remember having rubrics to help see where I stood on my comprehension. Rubrics are a great way to easily and efficiently give students feedback on their assignments.
