Case: Resources Ms. Bradley teaches in an urban, inner-city school, where there is a lack of resources. She is a 7th grade Science teacher and her students are struggling with the content. She has given them 11 vocabulary words for the unit and they are still struggling with knowing what they are and how to apply the concepts. Last year she had Escience, which played a huge role in helping the students with their science vocabulary. The school decided not to buy it this year, so she is trying to find other resources to help, but is coming up short with resources. What resources should she use to help her vocabulary strategies and to better equip them for their vocabulary assessments? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Soror Ashley!!!!! (Hey Girl) Maybe she can resort to the old fashioned ways of learning vocabulary by using index cards. Students could write the term on the front and the part of speech and definition on the back. Each day the teacher could assign various activities (either during the warm-up or for homework)that requires students to use the vocabulary words. |
