She is a 7th grade Science teacher and her students are struggling with the content. She has given them 11 vocabulary words for the unit and they are still struggling with knowing what they are and how to apply the concepts. Last year she had Escience, which played a huge role in helping the students with their science vocabulary. The school decided not to buy it this year, so she is trying to find other resources to help, but is coming up short with resources. What resources should she use to help her vocabulary strategies and to better equip them for their vocabulary assessments? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Similar to the "old fashioned way" of using index cards, the teacher can use Quizlet as a way to give students an opportunity to study vocabulary before assessments. This website allows students to create electronic flash cards for any material they would like to study. Once the cards are created, students can use them like regular flash cards or they can put it in a game mode to study the words as well.
