Case: Hand over assessment to administration
Mr. Jones is a 12th grade English teacher and department head. He was approached by his administrator to provide a copy of each assessment he plans to administer to the upcoming senior class for British Literature. Mr. Jones did not believe it was ethical so he did not submit the assessments to his administrator. What is the teacher to do or what recourse does he have?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
What was Mr. Jones think the administrator would do with the assessments. I would assume that the administrator would like to see what his or her teachers have planned for students to do. I do not think it is unethical for an administrator to view assessments. Mr. Jones should allowed his administrator the opportunity to view his assessments if the assessments were available.

Comments: I was thinking the same thing. I mean Mrs. Jones, what is the big deal about handing over the assessments? I don't see why it would be a problem.
