However, it is not required in kindergarten and I do not want them to get burnt out on AR tests before they get to grade in which it was required. How can I motivate students to take AR but not have them get burntout on it? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would set up a maximum number of tests that students can take in a month. After students have surpassed this amount, invite them to partake in different activities for the books they have read. For example, making a poster of the book or creating a collage of the book.
