Case: No grade lower than 60
In this school system, teachers are not allowed to give a student a grade lower than 60. How do you feel about this grading policy? It is claimed to be research-based.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I completely disagree with this policy. If students deserve a grade lower than 60, then I think that grade should be given to them along with feedback on how the student can improve.

Comments: I would never do this! This is wrong! If the student gets a really, low grade its not going to matter that you are providing them feedback on how the student can improve. Most likely they are going to fail the class anyways because the gap they need to overcome to get just a passing grade may not even be attainable.

Comments: I agree, the students should earn their grade. I would defiantly give them a grade they deserve along with feedback, great idea.
