Case: The case of the eating paper
In Mrs. Heneley's class, she has a young boy who likes to eat his paper instead of write down whatever is on the board. What are some ways we can keep the student working and focused instead of eating his papers?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Allow the student to write on his desk. Then, take a picture of his work. Next create an incentive that will be implemented each time he completes his work on paper without eating the paper. Focus on positive behaviors instead of the negative ones. Praise other students in his proximity for writing on their paper so nicely. |

Comments: I do not agree with this because other students would have to use the desk after him, as well as he might run out of room. unless the student had a dry erase board as his desk I do not see this working very well. |

Comments: I personally would not do this, taking a photo of his work after it is completed is an unnecessary step. |

Comments: I do not think this is a good idea because this create more work and this will dirty up the table even after erasing it |

Comments: I think this solution is the least useful because students should never be offered to write on their desks and deface property. |

Comments: I don't think writing on his desk is a good solution because other students may be inclined to copy and it also doesn't address the problem long term. |
