  Case: Completed Work
Heather is not bringing her completed work him for mom and dad to see. Heather's mother has called an IEP meeting to discuss this issue. How can we manage this problem with Heather?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
There are several different ways to approach this problem. First, with the help from the parents it should be determined whether her organizational skills are effective. Heather may be misplacing things. Next, a reward system could be implemented. For example, each time Heather returns her work she can receive a sticker. Once she reaches 20 stickers she can trade her stickers in for an item in the class shop or treasure box. Moreover, you can instruct the student to return the work signed the next day. Depending on the students personality it may take time to determine which strategy will work best for her.

Comments: If I were in this situation, I would exactly do this. Establishing why she isn't bringing her completed work home, setting up a reward system and instructing that they return the work signed the next day is a good approach to addressing the problem.

Comments: If I were in this situation, I would exactly do this. This would help everyone to keep track of her assignments, because the teacher would check everyday to place a sticker, Heather would have initiative and want to get stickers, and the parents would be more likely to get assignments. The parents could also remind Heather about the stickers.
