He warned not to do this and receives disciplinary marks. When the parent is connected about the issues the response is "He can leave class whenever he wants to and will not get into trouble at home for doing so." What is a possible solution for this problem? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Explain to the parent that for the safety of their child he needs to follow the rules. He cannot just leave and have the teacher wondering where he is. The parent may not understand why the child is not allowed to used the bathroom whenever he wants, but explaining that it is unsafe to have him leave the classroom without anyone knowing where he is may make the parent understand the significance of the rule.
